Check the requirements
Prepare your installation using the version of Atlas supplied by the team.
Atlas looks for Garry’s Mod in your Steam libraries. If the game is not detected there, the launcher cannot prepare its RedLine content.
- Check in Steam that Garry’s Mod is installed on this PC.
- Start the game from Steam to confirm the base installation works.
- Close the game, then open Atlas.
- If “Garry’s Mod was not found” appears, check its installation library in Steam before trying again.
Game content is managed separately
Atlas reuses Workshop content already installed and handles missing items. It checks the files the game can actually use.
Do not delete your Garry’s Mod folder to resolve a detection problem. If the message persists, share its exact wording and the step that fails.
